1976 Ibanez Guitars "Golden Oldies" Catalog

This is a classic catalog and one of the last catalogs to feature all "copy" style guitars. Ibanez had already begun to move away from copy designs in 1976. This catalog is a classic for one big reason: It features the "Korina Triplets": Copies of the Gibson Flying V, Explorer and Moderne, all made with a Korina-style wood and natural yellowed finish. (The wood is actually a Japanese "sen" and not real Korina.) These are three gorgeous guitars. The V is called the Rocket Roll Sr. (model 2387CT), the Explorer is called the Destroyer (model 2459) and the Moderne is a model 2469. All three feature set necks, dot inlays and Super 70 pickups.
